This is the camera that colors the site — a small sensor on the Raspberry Pi, pointed at the sky. Above is its current view and the five-color palette it extracts from it; the numbers below the swatches are live (hue, lightness, and the scene's color temperature).

It used to run as its own little web service on a separate port. Now it's just a page here — pulled in by the same dead-simple static host that serves everything else. One web server, no extra moving parts.
